PermaSlope - Consist of one of our crews pouring a narrow continuous sloped ribbon of concrete against the exterior side of the foundation walls. The top of the concrete pour is sloped down and away from the foundation walls. This forces rain water to discharge onto the ground a safe distance away from the foundation. As an added assurance we also install our PermaBloc process to prevent any capillary water or standing water from slipping under the PermaSlope and entering the crawlspace in the future.
The PermaSlope is then hidden by covering it with pine needles, mulch, etc. Customers' choice.

Hello, I'm Phil Jansen, a Licensed General Contractor and Licensed Home Inspector with over 30 years of experience in construction services. Throughout my career, I have conducted more than 10,000 residential inspections and developed a unique process called PermaSlope. This innovative approach permanently prevents excessive moisture from entering the crawlspace areas under homes or concrete slab constructions, whether residential or commercial. PermaSlope effectively diverts rainwater a safe distance away from the foundation instantly and permanently.
I developed PermaSlope after noticing that poor drainage at the foundation level is a very common issue in about 60%-70% of homes I inspected. This problem frequently appears on most home inspection reports.

While we concentrate and focus on the installation of PermaSlope all over the greater Charlotte NC area everyday, we are glad to offer the following additional services as our time allows:
- Gutter repair and installation of debris protection. We use aluminum (not plastic) gutter guards. These keep guttering free of debris permanently.
- Drying-out of the interior of the crawlspace by using commercial grade fans
- Remove and replace vapor retarders/barriers
- Chemical treatments of the exposed wooden components of the floor system
- Remove mold spores from the exposed wooden components of the floor system
- Remove and replace the floor insulation
- Repair of all types of structural damage
